Jackie, you make some great points. It sounds like you are clear, grounded, and confident in your relationship to yourself and the world around you. The author of this quiz, Dr. Paul Pearsall, was often challenged by participants with varying opinions in regards to his measurements. Ironically, Pearsall also authored a book called The Last Self Help Book You’ll Ever Need, which shares your opinion that self-help books don’t work. With my enthusiasm to share this quiz I believe I have also overlooked the importance of the overall context of the book, from which the quiz was taken. Pearsall is a playful and humorous man who liberally teases at the imbalance between the way society lives from the head and not the heart. His response, taken very literally, could be perceived as very negative. In jest, he is highlighting an important imbalance, I believe, that is important to discuss. Good on ya for sharing your viewpoint. I would look forward to hearing more of your thoughts should you feel inclined to read the full book The Heart’s Code by Dr. Paul Pearsall and take the quiz in context.

Also, what I do reflects on myself and others treat me on my actions because they speak louder than words. Third, I cannot conquer anything, hard work gets you in only so much were you also need luck and an unyeilding spirit. I am lazy. Fourth, I don’t like being angry. Not wanting to sound like some pacifist, but yeah, I avoid confrontation.
Also I think self-help books are like fast fix diets, they don’t work.
A person changes when they decide to change. Tada.
I just put this out here in response to maybe needing a second opinion on the tests outcomes. Sheesh, you guys are so negative.
